The Institute of Bangsamoro Studies (IBS) in collaboration with the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) and Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC) organized a forum on Good Governance on April 5, 2009 in Cotabato City.

    Dato’ Syed Ahmad Idid, a management consultant and arbitrator, was the main speaker. Dato’ Syed Ahmad was a former judge of the High Court for Sabah and Malaya, and Stipendiary Magistrate in the Sultanate of Brunei. He is a member of the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association (CMJA), Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA), and International Bar Association (IBA).

    Dato Syed Ahmad is a prolific writer. He holds fellowship in the Malaysian Institute of Bankers (Examiner in Law), Malsysian Institute of Human Resource Management, Institute of Management Consultants, Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators, and London (Goodenough) House.
